Day 5 we arrived at the Port of Livorno. We had heard that Livorno wasn't very special, but that it was just a real Italian Town. The main attractions from Livorno are to do a Tuscan countryside tour, or Pisa, or Florence. Florence and Pisa were very tempting, but we felt that after a big day before with Vesuvius and Capri we might need a quieter day and it might be nice to just have a wander. It was a very hot day, probably the hottest that we had during the entire trip.
